Kickin' CHEMO in the Butt!

Good morning from Fairhope! Me, Kelly and mom are sitting here in the infusion room at MCI going through my first chemo treatment. It has been a great day so far and I'm so blessed to be able to come to this beautiful new facility for my treatments. The doctors and the nurses truly make you feel at home and like family. One of the sweet volunteers name is Ms. Carolyn and she made homemade butter cookies and lemon squares... PRAISE the LAMB! I didn't need either one but they made me feel so good like I was back at grandma's house as a kid when she was baking for church or ladies event and she would sneak me a bite.

We got to meet with Dr. Cameron this morning and go over a couple of things from the PETScan, so with that I have some specific prayer request for you!

1) Pray for the cancer to to stay contained in the areas it is currently in.   (colon/rectum & pelvic)

2) Pray for the tumor to shrink to microscopic size as well as all the lymph nodes as well.

3) Pray for the pain to decrease and for the treatment symptoms to be minimal if all together non-existent.

Above all, pray for God to be glorified throughout this journey!

Talk to you soon!
